It is always the same story and it rarely comes with warning: the account is limited, the balance held, and a generic notice that explains nothing. If the money came from adult content, it most likely was not a mistake.
The main payment providers expressly prohibit this content in their terms of use. PayPal covers it in its acceptable use policy, under sexually oriented goods and services. Wise, Western Union and MoneyGram have equivalent restrictions. Nobody needs to report you: a routine review of account activity is enough.
This matters because it changes the strategy. The point is not to fight the decision — it is to stop getting paid that way.
Two methods carry no such prohibition:
If you work with adult content and get paid through PayPal or Wise, it is not a question of whether this happens, but when.
At ContentVantage adult content is paid only by bank transfer or cryptocurrency, and the system will not let you select another method for that material. It is not a recommendation: it is blocked in the panel itself. That is the only way to make sure exactly this does not happen to you.
